Acura cars are built to last, but that doesn't mean you can skip out on routine maintenance. At MotorWorld Acura, we handle all your Acura service needs at every stage of your luxury car's life.

Here are some of the milestones to keep in mind and what services you'll likely need when you hit them.

Every 7,500 Miles

Once you drive right around 7,500 miles, it's time for an oil change. This is the most common auto maintenance item. New oil keeps your engine running smoothly and helps you avoid more expensive mechanical problems down the line.

It's also wise to get a tire rotation at the same time, or at the very least request an inspection. This service involves the removal of your tires and replacing them in different positions to better distribute the wear. This helps ensure they last longer so you save by not needing to shell out for replacements earlier than needed.

Every 15,000 Miles

At this point, a mechanic will inspect the brakes, your suspension components, your exhaust system, and your fuel lines. This is also the time to check all fluid levels and replace the engine oil filter if needed, which keeps potentially damaging particles and impurities away from your engine.

Every 30,000 Miles

After you hit this milestone, it's time for your mechanic to check the drive belts and adjust them, if needed. The filter that keeps dust and pollen out of the cabin can also be replaced at this time.

Every 3 Years

Some services need to be performed after a certain amount of time, regardless of your car's mileage. Brake fluid replacement is one of them, and it's a necessity every three years.

After this point, many of these milestones simply repeat. Our trained technicians can tell you more about what you need to do to take care of your car in the years and miles that are to come.

If you're in need of any routine maintenance, schedule an appointment at our Acura service center in Wilkes-Barre, PA today. We have the skilled mechanics and official Acura parts you need to help your car live a long and healthy life.
